The Company
Gujarat Eco Microbial Technologies Pvt Ltd (Gujarat Eco) is engaged in the investigation, development, manufacturing and marketing of products based on naturally occurring microorganisms and plant extracts.
The products of Gujarat Eco Microbial Technologies Pvt Ltd are compatible with the biosystem and contain naturally occurring microorganisms – principally fungi and bacteria. Our objectives with these products, is to offer an alternative to the users of toxic and dangerous chemical products in each economic sector.
Gujarat Eco Microbial Technologies Pvt Ltd’s products are based on microorganisms which exist in different biosystems that form our natural environment. These microorganisms are the principal part of our environmental balance. After years of investigation, we have identified the functions of these microorganisms in the studied biosystems and have found that chemical and toxic products can be substituted by their use without changing the natural balance of the biosystem.
We are the owners of an industrial production system of these microorganisms through an innovative fermentation process, which is world-wide patented. Therefore, we can offer natural products which do not alter the ecosystem and offer a high efficiency rate in those applications to the different industrial and agriculture production processes. Our potential market is divided in four industry segments: consumer, environmental, industrial and agriculture..
Consumption
The consumer product segment includes household cleaning products, drain openers, degreasers, treatment of swimming pools and lakes, septic and cesspool treatment and home garden products.
Environment
Gujarat Eco will commercialize products with microbial base for the treatment of solid and liquid waste and for the environmental bioremediation. These products are offered to environmental remediation companies and solid urban waste retirement and management contractors, as catalysts for composting activities. The company can also offer a natural and practical solution to many of the problems of the solid waste treatment. The method is based on the creation of products which contain only naturally occurring microorganisms and enable to decrease cycle times of waste processing, thus increasing processing efficiency.
Industrial
In this segment, Gujarat Eco is developing specific solution and commercializing products for cleaning, maintenance and destruction of waste, demanded by food service providers (milk, juice, etc), and also the producers of chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical products. Products within this segment include microbial-driven degreasers, drain openers, solid and liquid waste biodegrades and general cleaning agents.
Agriculture
In this segment, Gujarat Eco will develop and market biological and botanical pesticides, fertilizers and other soil amendments, which are offered as an alternative to traditional chemical products. Additionally, we also have a range of veterinary line of products for increase in milk yield and egg yield and aqua culture development. Further, are other products such as mosquito control, pest control, etc for the benefit of the society.
Strategic Farm Units
Gujarat Eco Microbial Technologies Pvt Ltd has identified its first 5 to 7 villages for launching a pilot plan to establish Strategic Organic Farming Units. It has now decided to invite a very limited but interested group of NRIs to participate in this noble cause by extending investments in to these units. The investment received will be utilized in establishing such Strategic Organic Farming Units in a phase-wise manner starting from the Organic Model Farms and developing them to realize Organic Villages. The investments would ultimately finance a unit that would include but not limited to the following amenities:
Concept of the company
The company isolates and cultures naturally occurring microorganisms and fungi and blends them with various nutrient sources and carriers to create its products. The company’s research, development and marketing will be focused primarily on natural turf products, compost accelerators, hydrocarbon remediation products and non-caustic drain openers and septic maintenance products. However, the company possesses various other environmentally friendly products, which it intends to market in the future.
Most of the company’s products contain naturally occurring microorganisms and fungi in a proprietary delivery system and accelerate the earth’s natural process of converting organic matter into byproducts including water, carbon dioxide and methane gas. Although these microorganisms and fungi occur naturally in the environment, nutrient levels and atmospheric conditions (i.e. temperature, oxygen and pH levels) occurring in the environment may not be optimum for their growth or for the reduction of organic compounds. The company’s products restore these organisms into the environment along with the nutrient sources necessary for their growth and activity. Once the nutrient source and the targeted organic matter are depleted, the organisms expire naturally.
Biodegradation is the earth’s natural process of converting organic matter into environmentally safe byproducts including water, carbon dioxide and methane gas. The company, through its proprietary systems, selects naturally occurring microbes from the environment by enrichment to utilize specific compounds as their sole source of carbon, nitrogen or sulphur. Once selected, the microbes are cultured in a controlled laboratory setting and maintained for subsequent production and distribution. When introduced into the environment, these microbes biodegrade specific substances by using these substances as their sole source of nutrients.
